TWA – Time Weighted Average to the employee’s average airborne exposure in any 8-hour workshift of a 40-hour work week which shall not be exceeded.
STEL – Short Term Exposure Limit.  The employees 15 minute time weighted average exposure that shall not be exceeded during any part of a work day.
TLV – Threshold Limit Value. The concentration to which it is believed that nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse affect.
